QC PHOTO GUIDE
Know what warehouse photos can—and cannot—prove.
Use a repeatable visual checklist, request useful angles when available and separate visible evidence from assumptions.
Ordered variant
Confirm colour, marked size, model and quantity first. A visually good item is still wrong if the warehouse received a different variant.
Overall shape
Look for symmetry, panel alignment, distorted structure, uneven collars, toe-box differences and obvious compression damage.
Seams and stitching
Zoom into visible seams, loose threads, skipped stitches and mismatched stitch lines. Photos show appearance, not internal strength.
Prints and placement
Compare orientation, centring, scale and spacing with the seller listing. Lighting and camera angle can alter colour perception.
Hardware and accessories
Count removable pieces and inspect visible zips, buckles, straps, buttons and included accessories. Ask for a useful angle when a key area is hidden.
Measurement evidence
For clothing, insole length or dimensions, objective measurements are more useful than a size label. Request measurement photos when the standard set does not answer the fit question.
Packaging condition
Decide whether a box protects the item or mostly adds volume. Removing packaging can lower volume but may reduce protection or resale presentation.
Evidence limits
Warehouse QC is a visual checkpoint. It cannot prove authenticity, comfort, internal construction, exact material composition or performance after use.
